In this video I create a bearing tool to install a wheel bearing in the knuckle of a Honda Civic. The bearing tool is made from 6061 aluminum. It was designed in Fusion 360 and machined on my Tormach 1100 PCNC
Its been a while since my last update but I finally have one. I was lucky enough to find a used Tormach 1100 and it followed me home. I also wanted to thant NYCCNC, Suburban Tool, and Abom79 for their hard work and support of the YouTube machining community.
It's been a while but here is an update. The garage is more organized now and I go over some aspects of the mill and lathe I bought.
After a long wait and rescheduled deliveries I finally have my mill from Charter Oak Automation. I still need to make some room in my garage to fully un-box it but here is a video showing unloading it and opening the top of the shipping create.
I bought a used Atlas 3996 lathe yesterday. A friend of mine from college listed it for sale on Facebook book for a decent price so I picked it up.
